A real southern wedding!

Hey y'all!  It's official--wedding season has begun!  I felt like a real jet setter this past weekend as we flew out to Atlanta Friday morning and returned Sunday afternoon.  Motion sickness aside, we had a great weekend celebrating Matt's cousin Elizabeth's wedding.  Not only did we get to go to an awesome wedding, we also got to visit Turner Field, home of the Atlanta Braves, for the rehearsal dinner (totally love this idea and would  probably steal it if the Dodgers were in town the date of our rehearsal!).  One of our goals as a couple is to visit all the baseball stadiums in the country, so we were psyched to be able to cross one of our list.

Elizabeth and her now husband (also Matt) were married at his grandfather's GORGEOUS house.  It was so exciting to see one of my ideas (directions sign, located here) directing us to the ceremony.  Now, I am by no means a country girl, but this location was stunning!  The couple got married across from a beautiful lake.  The ceremony site really needed no decorations, it was full of natural beauty.

Before the ceremony, the bride's brothers handed out these adorable programs that doubled as fans.  Everyone had a great time completing the puzzles while waiting for the ceremony to begin.  And since we were in Atlanta, having that fan to cool off a little was awesome!

The reception was held in a tent located a short walk from the ceremony site.  I thought these centerpieces were such a great combination of country and modern.  Love the Mason jars and the rocks!

And of course, had to send the guests off with a favor that speaks not only of the South, but also of the bride's family's love for all things beer related (trust me, I know what I am marrying into!).

Congrats to Matt and Elizabeth!  We had a great time at your gorgeous wedding!  Can't wait to see you in July!

Stayed tuned later this week for a wedding I helped coordinate recently at super cool Marvimon House!
