Five Bridal Shower Games That Don't Suck

Hello lovelies!  I am back from my mini vaycay last week for Spring Break and ready for some more wedding inspiration!  If you are anything like me, the thing you dread most about bridal showers would be the games.  Ugh.  Some of them can be downright torture.  But without them, a shower is really just sitting around and watching the bride open presents, and sometimes that's not so fun either.  So here is a collection of bridal shower games that actually can be fun for the guests.  Given that I am uber competitive, I tend to get really into these kinds of games, and the good news is, most of the other guests will too!  (Click pic for original source, all pics via Pinterest.)

This one is cool for any brides who are into history, some background on popular wedding traditions.

I love this one for the pop culture fan, fill in the other half of the famous couple.

This one is great because it is personal to the bride and allows guests to share stories from their past together.

And this is probably my favorite.  During gift opening time, have guests fill in their bingo card with things they think the bride will receive (like flatware, lingerie, picture frame, etc.).  If the bride opens your gift, mark it off on your bingo card.  First one with five in a row, wins!  I love it because it keeps guests occupied during gift-opening time and is especially nice for the bride who may be uncomfortable in the spotlight.

Remember, the key to good bridal shower games is to make sure you don't make any guests or the bride do anything that makes them feel uncomfortable or silly.  Keep it fun, not humiliating!
